Jonno
Ridiculous game at Hadley. Hadley currently 3-1 up and both sides reduced to 9 men after four second half red cards. Entertainment personified.

stingray
CRAWLEY GREEN 1-4 WELWYN GARDEN CITY As I type this, the radio's playing Shalamar's "A Night to Remember", but for the hosts this was anything but as they were simply no match for WGC who made it eight wins out of right with consummate ease, helped by a CG red card. The omens weren't good right from the start as the referee didn't kick off until 7.50PM, then proceeded to waste more of everyone's time by questioning the quality of the balls (isn't he supposed to do that BEFORE the game starts?). After the first such stoppage, WGC went in front with a direct free kick, Crawley Green did equalise with quite a soft goal, but from then on WGC seemed to take control. Hopefully Dirty Claret may be able to fill in some gaps as the weather and the largish following from the visitors forced me to spend some time in the clubhouse. When I did this game last season, it had been used for a wake - last night it was the local darts team hosting The Stone Jug from Clophill. While it may provide some extra income, did they have to arrange it for a matchnight?

Winslow Boy
Hahahaha Gallagher has now left to join buckingham town along with half of last years team. Scott tells me we are very light for sat, could be a long afternoon and journey home.

Was always gonna be a backs to the wall season and this great show of player loyalty doesn't help the cause, so nothing changes. From what I saw at Mursley last week, things are moving in the right direction on the pitch and the Winslow support were impressive also. Just need to stick together and win the games against the lower teams. Anything else is a bonus.

I feel we will do enough to stay up and progress slowly but surely. Hopefully when we finally get some games at home our support will be as good as usual. Scott is doing his best to strengthen and I'm looking at some interesting things for the summer to help raise funds and profile.
