Doubtful, both Terry Brown and Stuart Cash were there Saturday, pretty sure they won't be fooled.

Hopefully,we've lulled them into a sense of false security! lol !

I guess there are only certain amounts that we can do in a short amount of time, both myself and Unders are fed up saying it but it is a fact, injuries have been killing us, and the inability to put out a settled side has 100% cost us.

I think most people know that with a fully fit squad we are fine and can compete, however with a number of injuries it can prove to be a problem, and probably has done since we took over.

This is something we have to look at, however don't expect loads of changes over night, biggest thing is to try and work to get people back ASAP, to give us a chance, and we will have Kev and Andy with us tonight trying to work on some of these players

Tonight has brought its own problems, with Johnnie Dyer out (after a terrible tackle which was deserving of a red card and may have changed the game, based on highlights I saw) Somers (ankle which was sore before Saturday) Sean Fraser, who went over on his ankle, Guy (foot and was probably not fit enough Saturday) and then also possible Clurgy who has an abscess on his back, which is causing him lots of problems, we will also still be without Searsy, however hopeful he may be fit by the weekend.

We can welcome back Ryan Parsons tonight, and hopefully he will get through OK,  also Reece is available after suspension, and Eddie will be back with us full time now he has managed to get some games under his belt.

We have bought in a centre half tonight who is going to be dual registered with Maidenhead, and who played against us earlier in the season at Hereford as skipper (Luis Morrison-Derby), we have also bought in for tonight Gavin Smith who we know well and will sit on the bench for us if we need cover in midfield or up top.

At the same time we have released Daryll Thomas, who we feel we have not seen enough from in his time with us.

Was I imagining things or was a keeper mentioned for tonight to cover for Sommers?

There was, however there has been a slight complication with Reading on this, and not sure this will actually happen now.

Possibly a slight complication with Luis also now, so our plans may have been thrown into a little bit of chaos.

Luis has signed Southern League league forms with us, however he has just had an approach via an agent from a higher placed club , and this may cause a problem, and may even affect his availability tonight.

When it rains it pours!

Well just to confirm the lad Luis Morrison has been approached by Bishops Stortford via one of his agents!! And despite him being on a conference form with Maidenhead, they have approached him direct this morning which Drax is furious about.

He had promised to come and join us on a dual registration, and sorted his forms last night, however he has decided he is not going to play for us now letting us down on the day of the game, despite the fact that Maidenhead will not let him play for BS for at least week.

You live and learn.... this is why we often go for a certain type of player, and try to avoid lads with agents, as invariably they are always trying to move lads on... however we have tried to act quick due to well documented problems, but has not quite worked out for tonight.

Squad tonight will be from :

Mattie Bonnett, Ben Edwards, Ryan Parsons, Tom Moran, Reece Yorke, Jake Parsons, Luke Knight, George Short, James Dobson, Gavin Smith, Adam Cornell, Eddie Smith, Scott Harris, Jason Lewis (academy) and Oscar Betts

The actual competition is not high on our agenda of importance but It's an important game as far as getting our confidence back by putting on a good performance and hopefully getting back to winning ways.

Will be a very difficult game as Egham have become a bit of a bogey side for us and they are on a good run of form.

Sorry to see Darryl Thomas released, though I appreciate his stint with us has been somewhat unproductive in way of goals and his performances haven't exactly set the world alight.

I thought it was nice to have the option of someone with pace up front and was expecting more from him than we saw but I think he may prove to be an asset to some other manager who hasn't got the luxury of choosing 2 out of 5 strikers and uses pace as a main threat in attack.

Super Kev has been with us since the mid nineties I bet he has not had or seen a season like this for injuries it must be his busiest to date.

We have all been wating for years to play in a league so that our team could show their skills against the best teams and get away from those teams that just want to batter you.

But for the managers it looks like it will be along time before they can put out there best first eleven to do this.

We are now finding out that this league is harder physically more than we expected.
