v Redditch

I know some will say it's our first season in this division and we've had bad luck with injuries but to lose 1-7 at home to a team lower than us is very embarassing especially after losing to the bottom side previously. Really need some top loanees to cover whilst this injury crisis continues or we could find ourselves in trouble. Shame too as it was a decent crowd there today and any first timers won't be coming back for more.

Embarrassing!

Last time we lost worse in a league game was 14th April 2007 against Bromley 8-0 and that was when the club was in free fall.

No disrespect to Redditch, but they are only an average side in this league and they absolutely took us apart in the second half.

Today the defence was non-existent and the passing was woeful, some "players" looked like it was the first time they had ever put boots on - the under 13's must be wondering if they have a chance for Tuesday!

Yes there is injuries, but todays performance was not acceptable.

3 defeats in a row now and losing can be as much a habit as winning. Let's hope some of the less injured are available for the next game, although rushing any players back isn't the best solution either. Hopefully between the managers they have some contacts where we could loan a few higher calibre of player to see us through.

Yes, we have injuries. That's obvious and clearly does not help but today was far more than that.

It's still 11v11 and there's no excuse for those fit players on the pitch not being able to pass a ball five yards to each other, which we could not do today on many occasions.

A few big decisions for Bakes & Unders on some players coming-up I believe.

not much you can say. injuries of course play a factor and tbh it looked like 2 or 3 that started were playing with injuries

but as said no real reason or excuses to justify why we failed to do the simple stuff at all or enough today

had we got to 1-1 at half time could have been a different story I guess but other than i think 2 chances 2nd half we offered so little

we were absolutely ripped to pieces over and over and were lucky to have lasted 25 mins before going behind as well in fairness.

other than about 10 mins around the time we scored we were not even as good as 2nd best out there

only 1 game though we move on and hope for much better next time

The 3rd & 4th goals killed it, especially as they were quite close together. We were ripped open time and again second half. Hollis was obviously not fit enough to start, but who else could we have brought in? The sooner Foulser is fit the better IMO, we missed Adrian Sear, and unfortunately Knighty wasn't able to impose himself on proceedings. Too many injuries and it feels like the Truro and Corby games are still taking their toll.

Fair play to Redditch, best side we've seen at home so far, or am I being too charitable to them as we weren't very good?
