staines_rebel_Jr
Finished Hungerford 2-1 Slough sounds like Daryll Thomas limped off so not great news. Result probably not that important, one less distraction for the season. Burnham 4-1 Aylesbury (slough old boys) the other result of the night in the B&B cup. Chris
Went to Burnham tonight as could not make it to Hungerford. Was close until the last 20, but then Burnham took control. Ex Rebels Warro & Murphy played, although Murph limped-off with a nasty looking knee injury when he went down unchallenged.
Rebel Kay
Given the depleted squad, the lads did good tonight. Special mention to Gareth Risbridger who played the full 90 minutes. First team debuts for Oscar Betts and Mbarak Bashir who can both be proud of their efforts. Good to see Ed Smith back on the score board. Hopefully the substitutions were precautionary rather than out of necessity and no new injuries were picked up.
Jon Underwood
Can confirm no new injuries. Dobbo felt his shoulder again so we took him off at half time. Then both Eddie and Knighty were so tight having both completed 90 mins on Saturday for the first time this season and we decided to talk them off as a precaution. Darryl had a very tight hamstring so we couldn't risk him making it worse so withdrew him too even thought it meant going down to 10 men. Really pleased with the lads efforts tonight in very difficult circumstances we thought they did the club proud. Time to wrap the boys in cotton wool and see what sort of squad we can put out for the weekend!

However we hope that he will be fit, although we have spent a lot of time on the phone today to various clubs, so that we have some cover lined up in case. Graham Cox
Thinking of all these injuries and use of youth team players , what happened with the lad Brancker who looked fit and eager in that brief sub appearance.
Neil Baker
He has signed for Marlow Graham, and was on the bench for them at the weekend.
Mark44
Has Matty Bonnett fully recovered yet? Would be ideal to give him some more first team experience if we cannot get cover and sommers is out.....not sure if he has been playign for youth or not
Neil Baker
He has only just started his comeback, and not really ready for us, especially at Southern Premier level. He needs to work really hard to get back to the level he was at last year, he has just played one game for Badshot Lea, and will probably do that for a while.
