It will see the popular former Royals boss, who was sacked in 2013 despite leading the club to the Premier League a season earlier, answer questions from those lucky enough to have a ticket. Tickets for the evening, which will be held at the Tilehurst British Legion club, are priced at £20 and are available from the association’s website, www.readingfcformerplayers.co.uk/events . The price of a ticket will include a fish and chip supper and entry into a free prize draw. The event is being held in aid of Launchpad, the Reading-based homeless charity.
