The point of the Supporters Trust !!!

The main reason - Slough Town Supporters Association changed it's self into a trust was that this puts us in position that we maybe able to take over the running of the football club.

 

YOUR MONEY ! is held in trust and can only be used by the share holders under their direction

to the members of the board.

 

The elections for the board will take place and you as share holders will have the right to pick your board members !

 

The board will have the mandate to put ideas and voting issues in front of the share holders.

 

However under your say so, if a decision is required urgently or needs action a proviso should be given to those board members to make choices and decisions. (without a vote of share holders) This can be written into the rules if you required them too....

 

You as a share holder will only be liable to one pound if the Trust goes tits up ! and this is held in the account already.

 

If and I say If Deaner's plans come to friution...we as a trust will look to runing alongside our club , but will consentrate on developing the community side of the club , encouraging youngsters and maybe supporting junior teams, looking after community issues...the list goes on...what we could really do if we really get a new ground....

 

We with Supporters Direct are working towards a full and open launch date and will let you know...

 

Please accept that we have had some problems and difficulties in setting this trust up and we need to have this all in place before we can run !

 

so bear with us....keep your spirts up and give the Rebels a shout...

Good work Chris. Your efforts in setting this up and fighting against the problems are appreciated by us all and I'm sure your efforts will be even more appreciated once the trust is established and running and the supporters of Slough Town FC from near and far can help play a part in developing the club onto bigger and better things.
