Can you share the reason why?

Can't be a problem our end. We would have had no trouble fielding a side. Looks like another game our reserves will miss out on.

No-one wants to play you lol

Seriously Amersham Town Reserves are unable to field a side

Haha Winslow reserves are scaring teams that much they can't get players to turn up!

FA CARLSBERG VASE Second Round Qualifying

Wembley v Hillingdon Borough

Will be at this one come on the Lions :D

Wembley 4 Hillingdon Borough 2 :D

A really good game where Wembley found themselves down to 10 man very early on but they were still the better team over the 90 mins led as always by Ian Bates who controlled the game in midfield. In J.Wright and Y. Femi-Gill Wembley have a very good strike force and if Wembley can keep hold of them and keep them fit then Wembley will do well this season both of them scored today.

FA CARLSBERG VASE Second Round Qualifying

2-2* Biggleswade United v Northampton Spencer

A report on this one from another Forum by a Andy Smith:

Biggleswade United 2 Northampton Spencer 2 aet (score @ 90 mins 2 - 2, h/t 0 - 2)

Admission £5.00 including programme

Attendance 42 (FA Website)

A rather strange game this, no flowing football played at all, Northampton Spencer scored the opener in the 2nd minute, a cross from a freekick headed home, with Biggleswade pressing for a leveller with Northampton Spencer's keeper making a couple of good saves, it was Northampton Spencer who went 2 up when an under hit back pass left a forward one on one with the keeper, who then fouled the attacker resulting in a red card and a penalty, the penalty being tucked away, half time 0 - 2.The 2nd half was very scrappy with both sides having chances. Around the 70th min. Bigglewade were the awarde a penalty after Northampton Spencer's goalie fouled a Biggleswade player who was through on goal, this resulted in a yellow much to the dismay of the home support, just add insult the keeper produced a superb double save from the pen. and following rebound to keep the 2 goal lead, however 2 home goals in the final 5 mins took the game into extra time. No further goals were added in this period although it was the 10 men of the home team who came close on a couple of occasions.

FA CARLSBERG VASE Second Round Qualifying

2-1 Spelthorne Sports v Risborough Rangers

A report from another Forum by a Southampton07:

Spelthorne Sports 2-1 Risborough Rangers

Spelthorne Sports Club

FA Vase

H/C 55 (ish)

Prog - Yes (not great)

Tidy ground with a great wooden stand behind one goal and a random structure between the two dugouts keeping more people dry on the halfway line.

Clubhouse very nice and everyone very friendly. Spelthorne had just lost 3 on the bounce after winning games for fun over the last year or so. Pouring rain didn't really stop until half way through the first half, by the second half it was blue sky.

3 goals plus a disallowed goal in the first 15 mins but then no more for the rest of the game. Two nil to 'Spelly' but nearly 2-2 in those crazy first 15 mins, Spelthorne looked the better team but Risborough never gave up and could definitely have snatched something. It wasn't to be and the Rangers go out and Spelly put the breaks on their losing streak and progress to the next round.

Accident on the M3 southbound slowed my journey home, pray all involved are ok.

Hadn't really heard of Risborough before (sorry) but now I've looked up where it is (south of Aylesbury) i will definitely visit sometime soon.
