Colliers Wood 3 v 0 Bedfont and Feltham

Chertsey Town 4 v 2 Hartley Wintney

both Cherry Records cup ties

I will post a link to our match report on Friday morning.

I will say I liked Bedfont & Feltham. Some very good players and a good, and fair following.

Pink training tops too

Same old same old. Duncs, Millers at Cove doing well. Turks at Cambo has taken them to a regular top 5 spot after you said they would go down. Tommo kept Eversley at the top end after taking over and took them up. Dills at Hartley got the club to the 4th qualifying round of FA Cup and are now regular top half contenders.

The Ashford manager is 27 and had had a great run. Derryn at frimley did fine despite getting sacked, you had a respectable finish and were mid table when he got the elbow.

Re training - Look how organised Camberley are defensively. They have a good young coach helping Turks who has done his badges.

I here one of the reasons at Cove they are doing well is they have a class coach putting on good sessions good attendances.

At MV we regularly get 20 players at training as the manager demands it, and despite practically having the same team that stayed up on the last game of the season we are 7th. Organising off the field at training no small part of that. We have a long way to go but we are doing ok.

You have a point re man-management, gelling a team together etc, but I've seen loads of so called 'old Skool managers' get teams relegated and achieve nothing. Old Skool managers always seem so disorganised.

Good managers care about training and those clubs succeeding and improving have a manager that insists on it.

But say I'm wrong, about everything, and ur world continues as it's all the old boys in charge. Where do young managers learn? What happens when the older ones die out? I could go on, you get my point

Good post Lukey and you have your opinion which i would not try to change,i think we will have to agree to disagree on this one mate, interesting to see who you class as young when we all know Millers has a comb over.

I'm flying through my 20s now so it's amazing how many more people I class as 'young' than I would have a few years ago lol. Even Krooner is starting to look sprightly!
