BuzzyBee
Weymouth currently sit 4th in the Southern Prem. Play well and win this first time round lads please. Don’t really want to make a long trip to Dorset mid-week.

Dasmuff
Weymouth fan here. Looking forward to the trip up to yours next month. Years ago (about 13 or so) I used to help run a non league live scores service and dealt with many club characters, some good and not so. At Billericay we dealt with a fairly elderly chap called Len, I think he would have been the club secretary or press officer. Of the 70 odd club officials we dealt with on a weekly basis, Len at Billericay was by far and away everyone's favourite to deal with. A real gent who couldn't have been more helpful. We'd often end up chatting and it was obvious he was hugely passionate about the club. I fear I know the answer but is there any chance he is still around? BuzzyBee
"Len at Billericay was by far and away everyone's favourite to deal with" Sadly Len is no longer with us, although as one who lived for the club his ghost can undoubtedly be found busying itself in some long lost corner of New lodge. Look out for some of his artwork from the 1970's behind the bar when you visit and raise a glass to one of the true unsung heroes of non-league football. Nitetime Neil
Thank you for your kind words Dasmuff, Len was an absolute legend at Billericay Town and a real friend to me in my young days getting involved at New Lodge. I look forward to meeting you and all your fellow Weymouth fans for a cracking FA Cup tie on Saturday week. Safe journey - I know it's a long one, some of us went the opposite direction to get the ferry to Guernsey last year !!
