littlehampton
The FA Cup has a magic all of its own, and tomorrow Town travel down to the south coast to face Conference South side Eastbourne Borough, in search of cup glory, some extra cash, and a place in the next round. Whilst it is probably not a tie most Towners would have chosen, given a choice, it provides a great opportunity to test our ability and strength against higher league opposition. We are the under-dogs, but upsets happen all the time in this competition, and we can be sure Brad and our players will give it their best shots. Dave Bryant has already circulated an excellent email, covering everything we need to know about Eastbourne Borough FC, the local area, attractions, pubs, eating places, etc so let's all enjoy a day at the seaside, and give maximum support and encouragement to our lads, as they battle to produce the result we are all looking for. Good luck everyone. See you there! ' COME ON THE TOWN '
Eastside Urchin
These are the sort of ties that Connie south sides often come unstuck in as they tend to rest the odd key players and sometimes underestimate Ryman prem sides. In one off games there is very little between the two leagues, the Ryman sides raise their game and often to a level of the Connie south side, the real difference between the two leagues is more noticeable once a Ryman side gets promoted as fitness over a season tends to be the main difference but in one off games I bet there record between the leagues is nothing to fear

thecoldend
and here are the highlights I captured...managed to miss their penalty kick!! Great performance from the whole team. Kirbs and Doyley were immense at the back...Theo Jones also played very well at the back too. Neil Cousin's goal was brilliant...very brave to stick his head in when he knew he was going to get wiped out/clattered. Phil Kane's effort deserved a goal but what a block it was?? I am not one to knock referees (as most people know) but how did their defender stay on the pitch following the penalty decision??? Cearly a goal scoring opportunity but he never even got spoken too.. If you watch the video when he gets up from the foul I think he thinks a red card is coming....clearly a very lucky player to stay on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFZQ843qXQQ
EnfieldYid
Good result, bring on Tuesday, plenty of noise, plenty of stick to their keeper. Think some penalty practice wouldn't go a miss... COYT
