vauxhallman
Although we have a very vocal following behind the goal I cant help but notice the majority of ultras from last season have disappeared, any one know the reason for that, have they fallen out with club officials somewhere along the way?. The singing from the band of fans left is superb but I really miss the extra bit that the ultras had to offer. Any views please

vauxhallman
Just a simple question Townerboy only so many fans are asking the question at games I thought I would put it out for debate, Hope I haven't touched a nerve.
Arthur Salisbury
Yeah I've got to agree with vauxhallman. I know Lee Robson's only here half the time because he's working on an oil rig, and Andy Goldhawk's sulking (no idea why). My dad's got a job up in Stratford upon Avon. Don't know where everyone else is though, I'm hoping it'll pick up towards the end of the season like it did last year.

Stanners66
I'll be at Leatherhead tomorrow with my lubricated vocal chords! Sadly, living in Colchester I don't get to as many games as I'd like, but I'd like to think I make a difference when I do go!! COME ON YOU TOWN!!! Eastside Urchin
Problem with ultra groups and the likes at this level,is its a good idea and great fun to start with but if you are drafting in new "fans" then you have to keep them there, you have to hope they find an affinity with the club but many don't,they probably support Spurs or arsenal and once the initial buzz wears off many choose to stop going, you won't be the first or last club to suffer from this
OldTowner
Disappointingly, I agree. Compared to most grounds our home and away support is very good. On away trips so far we have outnumbered the home support in numbers and noise However, the "buzz" from the Ultras has dropped off so far this season. Come on lads, let's get it back !!!!! lovely stuff
One of their favourite songs last year was 'We are Towners till we move'...That might have indicated that not all of them would be around for the long term. But their support definitely helped us avoid relegation last season, and i'm sure a percentage will continiue to come to games, even if its not as religiously as last season. The Unknown
We had a group of ultras at the game today .. Some of them couldn't come due to holidays and work .... Tuesdays game we will be louder and more vocal .. Todays support was quality in the second half and we never fail to impress. We try get the younger fans to join in with us as much as possible and its working because every game i see more and more young fans coming standing near us starting songs and we get them to stand with us so we sound louder. Imagine everyone that stands behind the goal singing. It would be amazing. We'll try and do that eventually.
vauxhallman
The Unknown I have nothing but admiration for what you are achieving and bringing the young fans on board and getting them singing with the ultras is brilliant a big well done from me to all you lads and lassies. Come on you town.
EnfieldYid
Some recent clashes with PL games is probably the reason for the low numbers recently. That's my excuse anyway. Won't make Saturdays game as I will be at the emirates.
