Just watched the extended Highlights, and yes we wasn't at the races but I am saying but. If it had been 5-1 to us at half time there would be no arguing with that. 

 

Yes it was the injury why Ed was upset no other reason.

 

 

Which I thought was pretty obvious.

 

He chased a lost cause and pulled up injured, then was subbed after signalling to the bench.

Must say hugely impressed with the way Dobbo has stepped up to the plate this season.

I don't understand what appears to be an obsession with Dobson among some fans..... in my opinion he tries to beat too many players, often eventually losing possession, and seems to frequently knock aimless crosses into the penalty area.

 

I would much rather see him use his abilities in beating one player, getting his head up and delivering a quality cross or pass.

After James Dobson joined us at the back end of last season I think a lot of supporters had their doubts as to whether he would step up to he mark.

 

I think, so far this season, he has done more than enough to prove to supporters that he is not only a very skillful player but can also score goals.

 

Having said that, he is a young player who IMO does need to learn when the time is right to beat players and when to pass the ball.

 

I think I'm also right in saying if the player of the year vote was taken now he would probably win it.

Is he the nutter that got banned from the ground yesterday? I had to wait at the bus stop with him. Longest 9 minutes of my life!

I know there is one guy that has been continually abusive toward the players and management since the beginning of last season..... I do hope he hasn't been banned on the basis of any vocal criticism on Saturday though (because I think that was the worst performance I have seen in a long time, and if there was a match when it was justified then Saturday was probably it).

I appriciate that staying in the Prem is our aim, but a lot of my best days / memories of supporting Slough as a lad were the games when we got to the first round of the FA Cup and the big boys came to town (plymouth, torquay, cardiff, reading).  

 

Whenever we progress in the FA Cup, we always seem to fall at the 1st round hurdle mainly (with exception of Walsall).

 

One year, just one year (living the dream) I would love to see us get to the 3rd round and draw a big side like Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs (or even one of the lower end sides Man U)....

 

Mansfield a few years ago brought that back, seeing a big crowd and atmosphere...

 

Guess, I would just say that I am disappointed weve gone out myself at this early stage (as the buzz Mansfield brought to the town was just like the old days).

 

Saying that, give me staying up or cup run, we all would agree which one we'd take now.

I don't think a poor performance justifies any abuse however Mark, I don't know who was banned, however if it is the guy who has abused myself and Jon since day one at the club, I would be delighted, as the guy has said and done some disgraceful things to us.

I remember one time when Ben Edwards was with his wife in the bar and he came up effing and blinding telling Ben in front of his wife how he should F off back to Godalming etc...

We can take a bit of stick etc, as that is what we are there for, however when it becomes personal, confrontational and down right abusive, then as far as I am concerned it is unacceptable.

Hope the guy has been banned, at Chertsey last season he was shouting about how Steve Easterbrook does nothing for the club and if he did we would have a ground by now......He was duly shouted at in what is the only time i have seen ARAAS angry..........was good to watch but the guy is an utter knob

I didn't realise he did it in the bar in front of family etc, I thought he did it during a match. 

 

Totally unacceptable behaviour!
