michael
Haven't seem all Margate games-but managed to fit in a few,and if my eyes don't deceive me-the overall standard of football from all sides (not just margate ) has gone up a couple of notches i feel this season. credit to all of the teams for that. another quite high tempo game v witham tonight-played at a fair pace by both sides-and i feel the players (who are part time ) deserve credit for their stamina and fitness levels. much higher quality and faster paced from most teams than a few seasons ago imo.loads of credit all round i feel. Indeed -the only semi pro league to have played 10 games already-and in October-it continues at 2 games a week. these must be very fit men these days. I used to say that the gulf between conference national and ryman-just two leagues different was vast. still a biggish gap-but nothing like what it used to be. Indeed-fitted in a few conference national games-and i actually think standard in conf national is a bit lower this season than last-in complete contrast to the ryman. credit to the ryman players of most sides i say
