Edgware Town @Underhill Tuesday night

Recommended Posts

I assume ETFC will sweep aside their opponents tonight as they have done everyone else like he predicted they would this season...... Oh wait....

Oh dear the Citizens didn't read the script tonight

But has he got a programme

Karen - I was surprised at the large vociferous following Welwyn Garden City had at the game last night and they were a good side, maybe the beleaguered Club are on the up afterall

A report from Underhill from another Forum by a member called 'non-league fan':

Was at Underhill tonight - probably my last ever visit there - to see Edgware Town lose 0-2 at home to Welwyn Garden City who scored two late goals to maintain their 100% record in the league. It was interesting to note that the goalposts did not have stanchions, so Barnet must have taken the original set with them to the Hive. Still three more matches to go at Underhill (including one midweek, on the 23rd) for anyone who has not yet been. There was quite a healthy turnout tonight, including a surprisingly large contingent following the visitors.
Edit; I wonder if I was the only spectator present tonight who was also at the previous occasion that Edgware played at Underhill in midweek, a London Senior Cup tie away to BROB Barnet on Tuesday 9th November 1982?

In what sense are we "beleaguered" Rhodes?

Looking forward to Saturday now and our FA Cup round at Thurrock

We have sold out two coaches, so the vociferous support will be very apparent.

That my friend depends upon one's measurement criteria.

Our criteria is not against something that did not work out years ago, but against a sustainable plan of continuous improvement, on and off the pitch.

Come and see us, you will see evidence of both.

Cheap shots like yours mean nothing to be honest, and the media responses by the Edgeware supporter over the last 24 hours is an embarrassment I am sure for Edgeware.

I note thst he has now apologised, too late for tne record.
