King Crimson
I'm looking forward to catching up with Edgware Town on Tuesday night at Underhill. The last time I was there was to see Barnet relegated ;-) I've heard a lot of good things about the new Edgware and am curious to see what the set up is like. Sounds interesting. stingray
In the sense that Rhodes may actually have attended a SML game? Sadly, club loyalties prevent me from SML games tonight, but I shall be at Baldock/hitchin tomorrow. Baldock_Town and Loose
Rhodes
"...historical..." - in what sense? Isn't that obvious, you had to be at Underhill on Saturday to fully appreciate the occasion

Whitley Bay
Isn't that obvious, you had to be at Underhill on Saturday to fully appreciate the occasion No chance of you actually answering the question then? If only those who were present understand the "...historical..." nature of the fixture, no point in posting it on a public forum where the majority (who were at other SSMFL games) cannot follow what you're saying. On the same track, as no-one EVER understands your thought patterns, why do you post at all?
Karen Browne
Cannot see where historical comes into play - it was not their first game, I suppose he could argue first 'home' game but given as they are only renting Underhill until their ground is ready not really an official home game. Rhodes
Did you get one of the much sought after programmes? No, sadly I didn't, I had better get to Underhill early this evening to ensure I get one as no doubt there will be another high attendance
petethegreek
No, sadly I didn't, I had better get to Underhill early this evening to ensure I get one as no doubt there will be another high attendance Attending two games in four days. Even Karen cannot match that. britman

Any chance of an answer to the question "...why was Saturday's game so historic?...".
Rhodes
Whitley Bay - How long have you got, as Karen pointed out it was the Club's first home match following their re-birth and at such salubrious surroundings as Underhill into the bargain on Non League Day, it was the perfect day! Winslow Boy
Are people still engaging Rhodes then? Why bother. I assume ETFC will sweep aside their opponents tonight as they have done everyone else like he predicted they would this season...... Oh wait.... Dictionary definition of 'historic' - famous or important in history. ETFC are re-born, play their fifth SSMFL game at someone's else (unused) ground - not historic at all in my view!!
