RPV 2 Crowborough 1

Crowborough took a deserved lead in the first half. There were a couple of good chances for both sides but Crowborough edge the half. Second half saw RPV reduced to 10 men and Crowborough seemed to take their foot off the gas and RPV stepped it up. Simon Moore equalised with a trade mark rocket from the edge of the box. In the last minute the RPV left back sprinted past everyone and with his well timed run and a good through ball he found himself getting to the by line to pull back for Moore to tap in and win the match.

Young officials were good however the ref produced 6 yellows and the red when there was not a bad incident in the game, shame really as it was his only fault in my opinion.

We were absolutely superb on Saturday at Hanworth Villa and thoroughly deserved the points and the score line.

It should also be advised that this result was achieved before the players were made aware of the important news (see other forum).

Horley Town 3 Sevenoaks Town 2 (FA VAse)

A great result for Horley. Sevenoaks came to the defence 2nd in the league and very much full of them selves. They looked a very good side and they took an early lead and many thought that would be it, but Town dug deep. A couple of good goals from Ashley and a specail one from Ben Herdman saw Town take control of the game. The sevenoaks manager who had been giving it the big I am got booked and they scored a consolation goal in the lat minute. A great all round performence for Town.
