Lord Upminster
We deserved at least a draw with the effort and commitment shown today. The goal drought we are experiencing is worrying. Let’s hope there’s a downpour very soon. Come On You Urchins…………
Eastside Urchin
We should of won,we looked the more likely and had twice as many chances. Margate probably were no where near their best but this may of been because too many had an off day,it could of been they had trouble adjusting to our pitch or it could of been that we didn't let them get in their stride, which I think was the main factor but all 3 rolled into one helped us,it definately showed to me that it has hurt us badly not being able to play at home but the players confidence should be back after that performance. Yes lack of goals is a problem but we have 3 top strikers when fit but not sure any of them are fully fit, even Purcell but he must be close. Lord Upminster
Our first "6 pointer" game of the season on Tuesday. A gap has started to appear at the bottom of the league table after nine games with us rooted rock bottom. We got a good performance from the players today but we need a win and three points soon to relieve the pressure that is mounting. We should not take it for granted that all will eventually come good. I feel this season will be exciting for all the wrong reasons and feel that with Jimmy Mac at the helm, players and fans showing commitment we can and will finish above the bottom four. Eastside Urchin
We will be nowhere near the bottom four in 7:8 weeks time. The FA Cup could prove a very good distraction on Saturday and if we play like we did today we will win. Same Goes for Tuesday,Won't be easy by any means but we are good enough to go there and win comfortably but the players need to believe, hopefully after today, the newer ones to the squad will realise they are part of a decent side,I'm not saying it's anywhere near our best side, far from it but with the odd tweak and return to form it probably isn't far from it
Lord Upminster
A good FA cup run would be nice this season.

cup of tea
I'm hoping that VCD will look at the table and underestimate us. Cup game will be useful, good chance to make up for that opening day defeat.
