Enough Said

Having been in a position to read all the Negative comments regarding Team performances, I can't believe how it helps.

Colin and the board are trying to pull Large rabbits out of a small hat.

What with the huge ground rent increase and the floodlight situation, it doesn't help them reading comments, such as Sunday league players, not trying, etc, etc.

Jimmy has stood up and said he picked the players, so it is down to him

Well Done Jim.

No doubt he has read these comments, which is enough to pi55 anybody off.

It did me.

Last season we started without the three Amigos who decided to tour Australia.

Ricky came back from Canvey and ended up Player of the season, but decided to try his hand at part time Sunday football, along with Tam and Spencer, both of whom had been good club players.

Then we Stefan Payne going to pastures new and Inigo wanting to stay in the Sun.

Players of this calibre don't come along every day.

I truly hope that the people behind these crap comments take the time to approach both Colin and the other Board members and also Jimmy,Grant,Ronnie and the other coaching staff and tell them they have your backing and full support.

I am not slagging anybody off as everybody has the right to have their say.

But I also have put my hand in my pockets to travel to this seasons away fixtures both friendly and league.

Although I wasn't able to travel to Aveley on Monday and won't be travelling today because I have been in Hospital all week.

I appreciate the original post I suppose was meant as some sort of rallying call, but I can't buy into that at present.

Yesterday and last Mondays games were there for the taking,we look average at best and I really can't see things improving at the moment.

Yes we know we have a manager and chairman that are proper football men,but personally I don't think the right decision was made in regards to Tam and Ricky.

Yes they let themselves and the club down, but was any stipulations put to the squad about playing on Sundays ?

Ricky has been a massive loss and Tam is the type of player every squad needs,Michael who has been one of my favourites deserved to go.

A different playing style was introduced it seemed through pre season and we seemed to abandon it within minutes of the first game.

I think this is the first real test of Jims managerial quality,I hope he succeeds but I have to honest the signs aren't looking too good at the moment. Being a good friend of the chairman should buy him time but how much longer who knows?

Come on boys, let's get back to winning ways

Up the Urchins.

I hated losing those three players, especially Rickie who we are missing at the back - but what was Jimmy supposed to do?

Let that go? It sets a dangerous precident. No player can be allowed to be bigger than the club.

We're not playing well enough at the moment, that's obvious from our league position - this is a tough league with small margins.

It's not going to take much to turn that form around in my opinion. Wish we could have had two easier games next though.

Just got to keep going.

Yes, on paper they are two tough fixtures. The players will have to raise their games and with a bit of luck Maidstone might underestimate us and we may nick a result I feel. This would set us up nicely for the first game of the season at the Bridge against Margate. I'm more worried about VCD to be honest.
