Well, I wish I'd read this review earlier! I've just used a 10quid HMV voucher to buy the new Simple Kid album, and I could have bought this instead. Although, seeing as I don't even own the original perhaps it would have been a bit pointless. I think I'm gonna go out on pay day and buy both!

Yup, purchased at lunchtime and listened to in the car going home. Brilliant stuff, not a duff track to be heard. 'I've got a feeling' does go a bit strange (technical term) in the middle but the harmonies at the end are excellent.

I bought it yesterday and, having not listened to the original for about 20 years, didn't realise it had some many strong songs on it. Perhaps they could do the same with Abbey Road and possibly add the one or two good songs from the White Album.

Maybe you should form a small committee of interested parties, to come round your place and listen to it and to discuss the merits of each individual track, while guzzling several vats of strong cider and Amoretto.

Funnily enough I've been eye-ing this album everytime I've gone into a shop or on a Online Store.

 

As for it being The Beatles, I do have 'A Hard Days Night' (good film too) & 'Help' uploaded onto my Laptop along with that funny Blue 1967-1970 Hits album, (spent about 4 hours on the way up to Northwich last season listening to them non-stop)

Canv was hiding behind Jeff King. Good turnout at the Canvey End, looked pretty packed though the atmosphere didn't come over very well on the telly. Lots of pictures of bemused Shrimper fans at the end, not knowing how to celebrate.
