(Maybe) interesting stat

After 22 games this season:

Hodges 12

Miller 10

Partnership Total 22

After 22 games last season:

Winston 10

Boot 9

Partnership Total 19

End of season last year:

Boot 31

Winston 25

Partnership Total 56

Is it possible that this season's duo could hit more than 56? One advantage they have had is that they have played together for the last 18 games on the trot wheareas Boot and Winston had only started 7 games together in the same period.

Place your bets now! Will Hodges and Miller equal or pass Boot and Winston's total of 56 goals in a season?

And I know Boot's still around and may start banging in a load himself now he's fit again but just for a bit of fun what are your predictions? And which of the three (or someone else like RYAN SPENCER ) will finish as top scorer!

Well for what it's worth I reckon Hodge will end up top scorer. He's a true target man, we haven't had a player like him around in a while. He's good in the air and also on the ground. But once Boot plays regularly (that is, if he stays till the end of the season) I can see him scoring a lot because he's our most natural goalscorer in my opinion, and one of the best in the Ryman League perhaps. I can see the leading scorers being Hodge, then Boot, Miller and Spencer.

As for whether they'll break last season's total then who knows - I hope so, as long as it gets us in the top 6 and even top 2 if the team does something remarkable !

Hodge will definitely deserve it. He's the hardest working of the front three, narrowly over Miller, whilst Boot is the best finisher of the three, narrowly over Miller again.

I can see Boot providing more than scoring this season and Hodge, Miller then Boot being the top three scorers. Hodge and Miller are beginning to link well together and develop an understanding which can only be good for the side.

Radders oh great statistician.... How many had Boot and Winston hit after eighteen games together? I think it's only fair to judge on games played rather than 'at this stage of the season'.

After they had played 18 games together which incidently wasn't until the 43rd game of the season, Boot had 24 and Winston 17. These goals are their totals though and not just when they started together.

IN STARTS ONLY

In 18 starts together Miller and Hodges have scored a total of 21 goals.

In 18 starts together Winston and Boot scored .......... 22!!!!!!!!!!

...before then working his **** off, scoring a goal and creating two for booty. He would then be subbed, call browne a twat but insist that he would like to work for him again for just a wee bit of security.

Oh for the record, I think Hodge will be top scorer and that the 56 partnership record will be broken by Messrs Hodge and Miller.
