Pleasing result today albeit against a team with a poor start but first home premier league game and reported gate 312 much lower then last years first home game gate against Northwood very disappointing

I would love to tell you the scores from the other games, but the Southern Leagues website is not up to date and just hangs when you try and get it to do anything.

There new site which takes forever to be updated and is seldom accessible and the farce with Hereford must call into question those who run this league.

a good game today from all players, hard to pick a player for MotM.

a deserved win today and it could/should have been a bit more comfortable at half time as the ref missed a blatant hand ball to prevent a certain goal. should have been a pen and a red card.

Dobbo was immense first half and beat their number 2 every time, some good pace and skill from Thomas today with a well taken goal from a solid header.

3 valuable points which puts us up into 3rd on goal difference. 7 points from 9 (possibly 6 from 6) is a great start which we now need to build on. Biggleswade on Tuesday will be a tough game but we should be aiming for another 3 points.

Well deserved three points.  In my eyes that 6 out of 6, as the 1 at Hereford will be gone soon.  Good team performance. Will be hard pressed to see a better goal that Daryll's header, pin point cross in from my mom Johnnie Dyer.

What a brilliant start, 7pts from 9 and third in the league. I thought we should of been out of sight first half, were a bit dodgy at the start of the second but finished much stronger. James Dobson MOM, he's playing so well we are not missing Wazza too much.

Three tough matches coming up in quick succession and I think we'll have a really good idea of where we are at after that but I'm really pleased with what I've seen so far ..  COYR!

You've got to be pleased with the start we've made,7 points from 9 is an excellent return.

Being a hard taskmaster that I am,I was a little disappointed that we let Banbury off the hook and never put them to the sword.I know it is very early days and players are still gelling but they were there for the taking.

I thought we played some decent stuff in patches but struggled in the second half to find rhythm to our play. That said our second goal was class [as was their equalizer] and we did have a couple of good moves but something still seemed lacking in the focus of some of the players. There's no doubt we will improve in this.

Thought Johnny Dyer was at the heart of a lot of our best play but Dobbo again, was a revelation,as Bakes knows I've always had faith in him !     :)

As Ian pointed out it's great to see the strength in depth we have for the bench, which we will need, especially against the sterner tests that await.

On to Biggleswade. Expecting a harder match than Banbury gave us but know we have it in the team to give them a good game, which is all we ask.
