Smudge

I'm afraid with the lack of hair in the top of my head a halo would only fall off.

I tried one on recently to no avail

Even you must admit Camberley were a tad over zealous with their tackling.

Their long ball game didn't work tonight!

We all have different views Tel.  I could go on about the tackle your 2 put in on our 7.  Very late, ball had gone and from behind.  Our player went down got up and then was shoved in the chest by another of your players 11 I think.  He didn't collapse on the ground and try and get anyone booked.  In fact because of that he was cautioned and your 2 who committed the nasty challenge got away scott free.

IMHO both sides gave it.  I wasn't disputing that our 14 deserved a booking.  It did look studs up but it was one leg, he clearly got the ball and not the man but you cannot tackle like that.  The fact your 8 decided to feign injury was what annoyed me.  30 seconds later he was running around like a spring chicken :)

Anyhow perhaps we can discuss this over a beer at our place :)

Frankly, from where I was standing, that tackle was appalling and should have resulted in a red card. The Camberley player went in with a straight leg and his studs up. It was dangerous.

That said, everyone who was in the ground would have had a different angle on that incident (and others!) and both teams would have had cause to be aggrieved with the referee's performance, although he will certainly learn from his evening's work!

I thought the game itself was very good to watch and can see why Camberley are considered title contenders/ They are well organised, good on the break and a very committed team. I wouldn't argue that we seemed to lack a cutting edge up front and would agree that, across the three halves, we probably just about deserved the win on the balance of play.

Based on tonight, I think Camberley will be there or thereabouts, because teams will really struggle to break them down and I can see them picking people off on the break.

Really Beano :)  I would never have noticed.  Did also enjoy your rant when one of your players clipped our 7 who fell over and go straight up and didn't appeal for anything.  I think the word you used was cheat :)

I tend to disagree.  I thought we were poor last night esp first half and the credit must go to your guys who I thought were excellent in the first half with some good football on a decent pitch.  Definitely lacked the cutting edge though.  2nd half was more even but if someone had to win it then like I said you were the ones that probably deserved it.

If you guys can get results on less favourable pitches that are dotted around then I think you will be there.  We need to play much better if we are to challenge this year.

Good to see you again.  It has been a while.

Very proud Grandfather tonight,my Grandson was on the receiving end of a not very nice tackle, but instead of writhing on the floor in agony, which unfortunately seems the norm in CCL nowadays. He rose to his feet and pleaded with the Ref not to book the offending Player, which he duly did not.Low and behold 2 mins later a Bedfont player, tackled a Westfield player(less life threatening),and was booked immediately.Honesty is my middle name as you all know and if the Westfield Website says they were unlucky not to get all 3 points tonight instead of Zero,I will give them my full backing. Both teams were poor, but the Westfield team were unrecognisable, from the solid squad they had last year, only 4 players from that squad played,I Fear for them.

M.O.M ALEX WINES 3 outstanding saves kept Westfield out.

Good to hear the bear still producing big lad with a heart of gold i hope he continues his progress and aims high in the coming seasons.

Unfortunately according to smudge not having a gold membership makes my opinions less valuable or creditable? hmm interesting way to shoot someone down. I do go to games as a ground hopper ( cue the moans and groans) but im just saying i like to see the scores as they happen. If you can think of a way i can attend every game at the same time and see the scores/updates for myself im all ears smudge!!.... Just like to say well done to chertsey on their win and another remarkable comeback from mole valley to take all 3 points. Certainly takes character and spirit to do that.

Kroons, last night is over, onto the the next round of fixtures. F A Cup this weekend can't make Saturdays games at QPR v HULL but will be at LAMMAS V BEDFONT SPORTS on Friday

I'll buy you a beer if I'm at Ashford's return to your ground.

A concession season ticket for Rangers just over £250 to good to miss

Surely most sides have someone tweeting the score . Set up a second twitter account and just follow the CCL teams. Simples

Guildford City already have a "Twitter List" that includes most (haven't checked recently) CCL Premier Twitter feeds. If you subscribe to that list then you receive updates from all CCL feeds included in their list as they happen - it is as good as a video printer at times :)

Do you know, I'm always amazed when anyone listens to a word I say! It doesn't happen often...  :D

I may have done your 7 a disservice there, but I heard someone appeal and there had been three little incidents involving him in quick succession and I got swept up in the moment. It was that kind of game and, as I don't get to many these days, I might have got a bit carried away.

It has been a very long while and it was good to see so many familiar faces last night.

The best I can come up with is a vidiprinter of Tweets - https://twitter.com/CamberleyTownFC/lists/combined-counties-league

Just one annoying thing - I can't add myself to this list so the Camberley scores won't show up on it.

(If I'm missing any teams or got any old accounts let me know and I'll update it).

**edit**

Wrote this before reading the later posts about Guildford City having the same thing. Theirs is https://twitter.com/guildfordcity/lists/combinedcounties but it's not been updated for the past couple of seasons.

I want to know how Guildford got on their own list though. I can't see how to do it.
