My first SSML trip of the season will be to.... AFC Dunstable. Hearing good things about both teams, particularly Sun Postal Sports Club.

Jamie Alan Armstrong up top will be looking to prove all the doubters wrong and show that he can still cut it at the highest level (of SSML). Nate Pooley on the left is one to watch out for this year. Only weak link I know of could be a lad called Stevie Newnan in the middle of the park. A few of my Oxhey friends tell me he has the temper of Joey Barton and playing style of Jan Molby.  :o

Season 2014/15 - Bring. It. ON!!!!

Its been a long time since i've been on here after being pulled up for some of my comments on here down at the club by Tibbles but i have to express my disappointment at todays game after my trip up the M1. unlike last year , today we looked real sluggish and heavy. Im not sure what sort of pre season we had but jimmy and Noons looked like they had just walked out of the old Wagon and horses on the A5 after a 12 hour binge . And the worst thing is they were our scorers?

All credit to AFC created a real new fresh look to there outfit this season. Good luck to them we'll have you back in the next leg im sure.

Yes RendonBodgers very fresh. 5 teenagers started today with 2 more on the bench. They bring enthusiasm to the team and really hope they progress as players as the season goes along.

Could not have been more wrong about Sun Postal's Moonan. First of all, I got his name wrong, was just reading the report on AFC Dunstable's site and I stand corrected. But more importantly, I was wrong about him being the weak link, definitely misinformed there, had to drop the boys from Oxhey a text as he notched his second goal of the game in the second half! Mark my words, he will be a 10-15 goal player and having seen him play, I'd say his playing style was more Kevin Nolan, top threat arriving late in the box and on set pieces.

Jamie Alan Armstrong also extinguished the 'can he still cut it' fire almost straight away slotting home calmly.

Was very impressed with a young AFC Dunstable side and the signing of Austin could be the cutest business of the ssml transfer window. If they can keep him fit and get him to all games, we could be looking at the league's top goalscorer there.

Overall, 8 goals, discovered some great new players, a decent half time burger and I even managed to smuggle in a bag of red wine (great invention!!). Top day out, onto Tuesday  :brille008:
