Next two Ashford fixtures for me today at Westfield then Tuesday home to Camberley.

 

As from next week when the season kicks off I'm afraid non league football will be taking a back seat as my season ticket kicks in. I will be at mostly C / C fixtures when my team are away.

 

Who is my team I hear you say

Note two we were at Wembley cheering them on the final fixture of the season

 

Note three one of Mr Clapham's foes

 

Note four yes they are blue and white hooped

 

Note five be careful what you say LAZARUS is a closet supporter

Full time follower of both, if I'm not at Rangers I'm always at a non-league game mainly Ashford home or away. Always a game or two in midweek. I go back well before Marsh & co I was 20 when we beat W B A in the League Cup Final. I was 8 or 9 when I first saw Rangers and Brentford in the old 3rd Division South I still have a soft spot for the Bees,

 

i was at Wembley for the Albion game, ex Ranger Clive Clark scored Albions goals and LAZARUS scored the winner for Rangers

Dad was my role model - you followed his team & did what you were told. How times have changed  - I miss the Pink Classified on the bus ride home

Getting back to non-league, I was allowed to go to Hounslow Town even earlier in life. They were in the old Athenian League, those were the days!
