Should be a good game tomorrow night against a Met Police team that are unbeaten in pre-season.

 

We're at the business end of pre-season so looking forward to what will be a tough encounter.

a quick search on google suggests Ehuhi is an Ivorian born midfielder (19 years old) who started at Wycombe wanderers academy and was at margate last season.

 

 

as for the trialist, could be anyone =]

 

I don't know if anyone has seen the Hyde Fc twitter, which is awesome, but as they have had many trialists this pre season whose names they cant reveal so they decided to give them new names firstly based on characters from game of thrones and then left-wing revolutionaries.

Yep, seems to be the player.

 

Came through the Wycombe Scholars academy, went on loan to Eastbourne Borough and Corby. Released by Wycombe and signed by Margate, playing only one game for them and seems he has Wealdstone on his CV for this coming season.

Shame about Gary Macdonald but can understand why.

 

Bit surprised to hear that Sam Barratt is on a contract at Bracknell.

 

Would Bracknell really demand a fee if Sam wanted to improve himself at a higher level?

What's a shame about Gary MacDonald? Maybe he's not in tonight's squad because he has prior engagements, I've not seen or heard anything to say he's left? Regarding Sam it seems he's played for other club(s) this pre-season which obviously he's fully entitled to but would be a shame if we couldn't attract him as he sounds like a decent prospect.

Gary has gone to Hayes and Yeading. It's on the official site.

Sam has gone on trial at Maidenhead and will be making some kind of decision on his future soon.

Surely with Sam on contract we're not in a position to pay a fee and I can't see Bracknell Town letting their prized asset leaving for nothing especially as there's a few clubs after him? Shame about Gary but he was probably only ever going to be with us for a season given his age. We have Hollis, Yorke, Moran (at the moment) and Foulser when he returns as centre backs so are covered there.

Maybe the contract has a sell on clause in the event the player gets sold on to pro clubs etc at a later date.

 

I can't see Bracknell saying to Sam we're not going to let you further your career at Slough or Maidenhead unless they pay us some money.

As you say, if he wanted to join Slough or Maidenhead I couldn't see money changing hands and I couldn't see Bracknell stopping him either.

 

I'd say it's more a sell on clause that they would want to benefit from.

1-1 draw against the Plod! Good game against a good side. They scored first half and we equalised 10 mins from time with a well taken goal from Alex Witham (sp?).

Yep good game I thought. They edged the first-half I thought with us being much the better side the 2nd-half & deservedly equalising.

 

A couple of tough decisions on players for Unders & Bakes to make with regards to the trialists.

With more injuries than expected it's possible we'll sign on more trialists/players than normally.

Good game to watch with plenty of chances for both teams.

 

Even first half and I think we were the better team second half.

 

Some good performances but particularly impressed with Alex Witham. Capped a very good game with a well taken goal.

 

Familiar face came on second half in the shape of Adrian Sear. Now, if we can sign Searsy and get him fit what a player we will have on our hands.

 

Positively drooling over the thought of Searsy playing alongside Knighty and Clurgy in the mid-field.
