Irishadrian
There is a statement this morning on the Southern League website regarding Hereford United The salient content is to the effect that the club have paid all the monies they had promised the Southern League they would pay ( or put them in a neutral holding account where they didn't have transfer information) The Southern League have accordingly lifted the embargo on recruiting /registering players and look forward to Herefords participation this coming season This is subject of course to actions which may be taken elsewhere ( the High Court today for example. A Rebel and a Saint
Their Court hearing was adjourned to 1st September while they sort out a CVA. The Hereford fans are very angry at these latest developments. They are now taking about going ahead with boycotting all away games too because the southern league had allowed the club into the league. This is alongside their protesting outside home games. Seems those of us who decide to travel up there could face a hostile welcome.
Mr Rebel
Makes you wonder if its worth the hassle of going to the game but on the other hand why on earth should opposition fans prevent me supporting my club regardless of the details and situation their club is in. That's if the ground has been deemed fit for support anyway? Was talk it hasn't been
Ian
I would have thought Hereford fans would be very foolish to be hostile towards any away fans who do travel when they are trying to garner support. Nothing would make me less sympathetic to their plight than being targeted just for supporting my team. I still don't see the point in boycotting away games. That's a great way of showing the owner what he's missing if they turn up in force at away grounds where he doesn't receive any of the revenue. A Rebel and a Saint
They seem to have decided that it is the southern league's fault that the club has been accepted and that is the wrong decision, so have come to the logic that they must boycott anything to do with not just their club but the southern league too. Brighton on holiday
And that Nigel is why football fans get treated like shit!
Reading Rebel
It seems that not only have been ill informed but they seem arrogant as well. The Hereford militants think that the Southern Premier is a tin pot league and that the Southern league and us smaller clubs are desperate for the money gained from their massive away support. I think they are shooting themselves in the foot big time by boycotting away games.
Ian
The Southern League can't deny their application on moral grounds! If they've satisfied all the criteria that has been requested of them, including financial payments, then the Southern League should let them in. It's not for the league to pass judgement on who's a nice owner and who isn't.
Brighton on holiday
Have they satisfied all the conditions tho? The court meeting has been adjourned till september 1st and they still havent paid all their creditors. We`d all be pretty militant/angry if our club had been ripped apart like this

Big J R
Have they satisfied all the conditions tho? The court meeting has been adjourned till september 1st and they still havent paid all their creditors. We`d all be pretty militant/angry if our club had been ripped apart like this IF one of those creditors is the lovely 'Tax-Man', then they need to sort something out pretty quickly before September. The lovely 'Tax-Man', won't be kept waiting and will rapidly change the locks !!
Graham Cox
Can see a situation where we will play them early in the season and then have the result expunged when they go under completely
