John Main on trial-whats that all about ?

I imagine simply training with mfc and just making up the numbers tonight as opposed to simply trialling, but i know nothing ?

Did riviere play as well at right back as he did on saturday;and to my eyes looked more than comfortable in that role , for me negating the need to find cover for nelson

Did folkstone raise their game as such, I know they r pretty decent anyhow, but as margate are the team to beat feel that could happen more often than not

They will have to get used to that every week. Playing gate will be every other teams cup final this season.

first 10 minutes or so it was all Margate, a lapse in concentration (and blinding sun) and they score a well worked goal.  we then pressured them for the rest of the half and snuffed out any counters from them and scored an equalizer (deserved) before half time.  Second half and MFC were totally dominant and looked to be the team everyone is expecting to run riot in the Ryman Prem this year.  A well worked goal from Lewis Taylor and then a worldy strike from 30 - 35 yds out from a calm composed Luke Moore sealed the game.  Only down sides IMO we are still gifting teams free kicks just out side the box and lapses in concentration (which led to both Folkestones goals) will be jumped on by better opposition.  Cugley is a very good manager and set his team up with a high defensive line and were not too far from joining the Ryman Prem this year...... probably a realistic taste of the season to come IMO and the first eleven are almost picking themselves. :)
