Let's hear it for ETFC fan Andy Davison who has just been named Champion Brewer at the 4th National Homebrew Festival. This basically means he is officially the best home brewer in the country!

Are we allowed to badge it "Enfield Town FC Beer" and I'll buy a case of 12.

 

I'm sure theres lots of legal stuff that makes it out of reach but if Norwich City and Exeter City can have their own label beer why can't the town?

Well, it's homebrew so it isn't available for sale. Anyway, once the result was announced, visitors to the festival descended on it like a pack of vultures so there isn't any of that batch left.

It is actually called "Atlantean Dew". This result means it is the homebrew equivalent of "Champion Beer of Britain" which isn't bad for a first attempt!

BTW, I don't know how long Exeter will have an "own label" beer because it apparently doesn't sell particularly well.
