Hi guys, really looking forward to our match in December. We have not been playing well at all this season so your in with a real chance. We hope to bring about 1,000 fans down for the game but the 1 pm kick off is a bit of an [****!!****].

Its about time some of the girls in our first team got a bit of a kicking, so give it to em! What are your pies like and is your ground difficult to get too? Best wishes Matt

To The Stadium:

By Road:

Hornchurch Stadium is actually in Upminster in Essex, just north of the Dartford crossing.

By car, take the M25 to junction 29 onto the A127 towards London.Come off at the next major turn off (head East, signposted to Upminster - general direction "London") and turn left into Hall Lane.

Follow this road for about a mile and a half, passing Upminster station on your left, until you come to a major crossroads with traffic lights. Turn right at the lights into St Mary's Lane. Continue down the hill and take the second turning on the left (Bridge Avenue). The ground is about 200 yards along Bridge Avenue on the right.

By Rail: Nearest BR station is Upminster which is on the Fenchurch Street to Southend/Shoeburyness line. Turn left out of the station and follow the directions above.

Upminster Bridge underground station (District line) is closer to the ground. Turn right out of the station, walk under the railway bridge and take the second right turning into Bridge Avenue.

Dunno about the pies mate, but everyone crams the burgers & hot dogs down their necks so can't be bad.

Everyone's looking forward to the match; you'll receive a warm welcome at our club. A lot (but not all) of us support West Ham, and we're quite aware that you've been a bogey team for the Hammers in previous years (along with Oldham, Luton, etc etc etc - fact: everyone's West Ham's bogey team!) If the Urchins play with as much composure and professionalism as they have all season and especially against Darlington then we're in for a great game.

By the way, a warning: the pigs will be there. There are 3 of them that have to watch out for in particular. They are well known amongst us lot. You can't miss 'em; they'll be very obvious despite being in plain clothes, so tell your mates to keep their noses clean as they will be watching! Have a safe journey down.
