I presume one of the conditions of the SL accepting Hereford was the payment of a bond to cover this situation.

I was thinking the same thing as that late goal went in on Tuesday. At least we'd only really be losing one point off the board if Hereford go bust.

A real shame to see it come to this but it looks like their supporters team is starting off well with plenty of support.

Was it a wasted journey though? I don't think so, I think despite all the travelling or supporters had a great night and made a lot of noise, the players put in an excellent confidence boosting shift (without several players who you could consider to be first picks) and will hopefully learn from the late goal.

Hopefully their supporters Trust and council can work together to keep hold of Edgar Street. It would be a real shame to lose such a unique ground.

Not a wasted journey at all for many reasons. A chance for the new players to gel, Ed served the second game of his suspension and the players got another match together having played superbly in my view.

 

Plus there was the fantastic support which ranks as one of my favourite Rebels' away days. So no, not a waste.

Not a wasted journey for the team. A lesson to be learned in closing out a game late on, and likely not losing any points because of it.

Assuming the match is nul and void will the match still count in respect of Ed Smiths suspension?

It won't be null and void until Hereford's record is expunged. At the moment the club is still operational and been no suggestion they won't fulfil the fixture at Dorchester tomorrow. Smith should be fine to play.

Ha, thats funny, someone said they saw I was there and I wondered how as they were listening on the radio.  Then I started to get paranoid that they had heard me screaming over the airwaves, but I don't recall screaming.
