Query about the away shirts

Just a little something I noticed today - because of the kit clash, Slough obviously had to wear white today - but the players were wearing shirts with Lakes as the sponsor, rather than the newer ones sponsored by Coldseal. Does anyone know why? Is it just that they forgot to bring the new kit, or that the team doesn't have one, or do we have two different shirt sponsors? (I thought Coldseal was our one and only shirt sponsor so I'm guessing it's a mistake?) <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I thought the deal with Coldseal was for the home shirts only. This was to allow Lakes to continue sponsering the away shirt.

We have two different sponsors. Obviously the away one won't be worn that often throughout the season.

 

Possibly at Bantead, defo at Egham and Staines.

Aaaah and there was me thinking Lakes had severed ties with the club completely and taken their business to Windsor and Maidenhead ! My mistake. But still, we only wear the away shirt about 4 times a season so Lakes won't get that much value for their money will they !

I think it's a case of thank you for your previous sponsorship and a showing from the club that they are still proud to be associated with Lakes which we should be. They got this one as a 'freebie'!

Well, sounds OK to me because Lakes have served us well. Plus I think it looks better if a club has more than one sponsor.
