Actually, I have to say I have found this web-site to be slow today, sometimes locking completely, whereas I have have had no problems with any other sites I use.

Internet Explorer is awful with many websites, sadly. I would not recommend it. This is due to a compatibility setting in IE.

Chrome is usually much faster - https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/chrome/browser/

We do not have any issues at the moment.

Sometimes the issues are caused by third party software on computers, such as ad blockers, intrusive virus software etc. We have had these on more that one user in the past.

It has started locking on my today with Explorer trying to 'Recover The Web Page'.

Then I get this:-

We were unable to return you to nonleague.co.uk.

Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website. It appears that the website continues to have a problem. What you can do: Go to your home page
     Try to return to nonleague.co.uk
     More information

Sounds typical of IE :(

Not too sure what to say, I am at a loss.

I am running IE11 and it seems okay. Maybe if you are on an older version you can upgrade if you can't run Chrome, however this also depends on your version of windows.

I'll give it a few more days Ian.

I'm loath to start using a new browser I know nothing about after using IE since the year dot.

I can only re-iterate that it is only THIS site that seems to be a problem.

Indeed - I appreciate that.

I wish I could afford a faster server - but I can't.

I have just priced up a server, and it would increase my monthly costs by £200.

So I need to look at other options.

Let me see what I can do....

the problem with those in a 'work' network is that you have IE and IE only. I have managed to get Chrome on my work machine but only because my job role requires it and I am one of about 6 in an office of over 70 that is allowed Chrome.
