On the surface it does sound promising.

 

Seemingly coming out of the blue, some questions spring to mind:

 

Where has the Observer got this news and is this the first time anyone from Slough Town FC has heard of these proposals?

 

Is the area at Montem big enough to house a Football Stadium and an Ice Rink?

Sorry to put a dampner on it WR but I'd guess that the Observer are taking a stab in the dark and have no more idea than us in regards to the usage of the Community Sports Facilities at AV.

The last season we were in Slough the average gate over the season was 1200 per game so using your maths.

1000 kids ( but it'll be nowhere near that) v 1200 people, no brainer to me.

Not only that it'll not just be football at the site, gym, dance studio and an academy (which would be for 5 days a week).

RT tyler. It was never just about the football club but a multi purpose stadium with extras that thousands would benefit from. Including the NHS, burning off all the calories from eating at McDonalds

Well what is one too think. I was defending the clubs right to a new ground and all you were doing was fixating about some bloke called hotspur,which you seem to refer to a lot, makes me wonder .
