Big J R
Any thoughts, anyone ?? I thought we were good 1st half, not capitalising on chances. Rubbish 2nd. half. Slowed right up. Our defence is still too weak. My M.O.O. ? Has to be Sturridge. Best man on the park.
missunderstood
For me the best man on the pitch had to be Pirlo by a country mile, although not taking a specialist man marker to Brazil probably made his job easier.
Savagebee
19 year old Raheem Sterling was by far the best player on the pitch last night.

cup of tea
I think the conditions (i.e. the heat) suited the Italians more than us. If the World Cup had been in a cooler climate then we could have run at the Italians for 90 minutes and denied them the space to operate in. Rooney was out of position and that left Baines exposed as well. Still 2 games to go

Rhodes
Who saw the clip of Joe Hart swearing at a young ball boy behind the goal during the Italy game, disgusting!:
Big J R
Maybe he should have sworn at himself and the England back four ! Incidently - The video clip doesn't play.
Rhodes
It was okay yesterday but Hart should be ashamed of himself shouldn't he: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCFHnX3_6RQ
Big J R
I quite agree. He obviously thought the pitch side mikes wouldn't pick him up.
