3spirit
A couple of weeks or so ago, on some thread or other, a discussion was going on about how Slough would measure up against teams in the Southern Premier Division. I happened to relay that I thought Chesham this season would be a good yardstick to see how far Slough have come and how far we will need to go.Now I'm not so sure,as Chesham,in the last week have lost 5 of their best players and Andy Leese, their manager is going to have a major re-build to the side on his hands. Having also lost Steve Wales,Chris Watters and another name I've forgotten, towards the run in of last season, the Chesham team look a very different proposition going into this season. No doubt Andy Leese will find replacements but perhaps we will have a greater chance of ending our hoodoo against them, now. Be great to turn them over for a change, wouldn't it? michaelSTFC
Their top scoring forward partnership Chris Dillon and Drew Roberts have joined St Neots Town. Still plenty of room in Adam Foulser's pocket, though
