A couple of non league snippets

So who gets reprieved and takes up that place in our division?

Harrow Borough (Ryman league) will get a reprieve. Possible that a Ryman league team will get moved into our league or bishops stortford might be put in our league.

Dorking wanderers would be another possible team to be promoted into our league.

From conversations I have had recently, Dorking Wanderers will be happy with Ryman Prem.

Worcester had already given notice of wishing to play at Step 5, irrespective of relegation.

According to the Directors' announcement they want to protect the money they have for a new

ground and not blow it on maintaining their Nat Lge. Nth. status.

Fair play I say, taking the long view not short term and oblivion. Lee Hughes is joint

manager/player next season.

Being pedantic Bernie, I think you mean not blow it on maintaining their Northern/Southern prem status as they were relegated from the National League North.

Wh would they blow it maintaining their Conference North status when they've been relegated from it???

I could be wrong but I think they made the decision to take relegation mid way through the season so stopped investing during the season to save a bit of money.

Seems to me that the National League is at present beyond the (financial) reach of many clubs  and The National Leagues  North and South are trending that way.

To me it seems more like the few who are in the main poorly supported or poorly managed.

The higher you go up the leagues your income has to go up accordingly or you will come tumbling down again.
