There were fisticuffs at Bideford today at tbe final whistle of their 0-0 draw with Hereford Several minor scuffles broke out but Hereford had a small security team in the crowd and together with Bidefords stewards it was quickly controlled.

Really not sure if Mendy is too good for Div 1.

 

He's tried it at higher level and seems to have failed miserably. Either that or he is not willing to put the necessary effort in to make it at a higher level.

He was  a proven goal scorer at step 4 last season now playing at step 6. The amount of clubs he has played for suggests something is not right in his mindset.

A couple of golden oldies made a return at the weekend. Richard Hayward played in goal for Chesham aged 37 and our own Simon Sweeney turned out at right back for Steve Bateman's Berkhamstead.

You have to question some of these owners and wonder if they actually do any research before they part with the cash! Teams like Dunstable with a big club like Luton on their doorstep plus easy access into London are never going to have sustainable crowds required. Of course if they're happy to throw money at it then that's their prerogative. Similar story at tonight's host where money was chucked for a few seasons until the chairman finally realised the hoped for crowds and business support never materialised and he withdrew his funding.

Cinderford have announced that Karnell Chambers the forward largely attributed with their mini-revival has left suddenly  He sent a tweet after their last game saying he was  proud to have scored on his last game for Cinderford  Various Cinderford officials have gone online to say they knew nothing about  it. He has agreed to play in Sweden something fixed up with his agent. Hopefully beneficial to us on Saturday.

Todays game at Chalfont abandoned   Ref stopped play due to a back/spinal injury to Chalfonts centre half  Ref said he would suspend game for 1 hour and re-start if all medical staff had left by then  This didnt happen so game abandoned.

The injured player was Adam Kirby. I'm pretty sure he was very briefly on our books, perhaps towards the end of Bateman's tenure, or maybe appeared in pre-season.

Close. I don't think he was ever listed on the website as he didn't appear in a first team matchday squad. Might have appeared in pre-season but that wouldn't count.
