I agree would be a good signing. Probably also played with Simon Dunn and Nathan Smart during his two years at Basingstoke.  One problem may be is that he has played for clubs in Hants and Dorset. Would the travelling be a problem?

At first I thought this was a complete no go as Gosport is very far and then I saw he has spent the last two years at Basingstoke which is not only closer but he will have some links with our summer signings .....Maybe it is a possibility

Just to confirm Floody lives round the corner from myself and Jon in Fleet, so nice easy journey to football for him!

Have to be registered 7 days prior in the Berks and Bucks Cup, a rule that I think they need to change personally.

I could possibly understand if it was a semi-final or the final but otherwise a bit of a ridiculous rule.

Not exactly surprising from the B+B though, a ridiculous rule for a cup that no one cares about. Went to the final last season between Chesham and Aylesbury and even the winning celebrations were fairly muted!

 

Excellent signing for us and hopefully with the return to fitness of Gavin James, as we head into the New Year Lee Barney can return as well and get some really good competition for places going up front as we have in other areas of the pitch.
