Wow that is quite a game! Such a big fall from grace Histon have had...

 

Just looked it up. 2-1 to Histon before half time, both had a bloke sent off fleets keeper being one and with no sub keeper so player manager went in goal... just after half time Histon keeper sent off but they had a sub keeper. Pen scored 2-2! Histon score 2 and go 4-2 up, fleet pull back to 4-4 and then Histon have another sent off 10v8 now. Fleet get a winner and then Histon have one sent off and fleet have player carried off from the tackle. Ended 5-4 and 7v9 players. I just noticed as well that fleet last game was 4-4 against Potters Bar as well. Some seriously entertaining stuff over there!

Seems the Basingstoke Chairman is stepping down at the end of the season. Wonder if they have someone in mind to replace him, and whether Terry Brown and their full time set up is safe?

With their old stadium and size of the town, you would think they are due a new stadium and revival in some form or other but as we know it is never that straight forward.

 

Banbury have signed Sam Humpreys from Hayes and Yeading FC. Bound to be a few leaving H+Y, as they have new management.

Hayes and Yeading have announced their intention to return to their new ground when they meet Slough Town They are appealling for as many volunteers as possible to help witb finishing touches and snagging They expect a huge crowd Lets hope they pull it off.

according to the southern league web site aaron couch has joined us.

 

 

I think that must have been to get him registered for the Northwood game?

 

I wasn't at Northwood but someone else said Aaron Couch looked unfit and was carrying a bit of timber which I suppose is understandable with the time he's had out of the game.
