Well Dan Burnell scoring 4 goals at the wk-end for Flackwell heath in a 10 nil win.

 

Very good article in the Non League Paper 18 yr old player Brandon Adams on loan from QPR to Staines scoring two goals last week to beat Dulwich.

He is telling his mates at QPR to get there hands dirty and get out of there comfort zone to get the experience in lower league football where they have to play for the team.

As they are playing to improve more for themselves at there pro clubs.

He wants to get more action at Staines.

Wonder if Elijah thinks along the same lines now he has sampled the feeling of scoring in front of a big crowd in a game that matters.

Something doesn't add up... why would GNW accept the job without working out if he has the time to commit? Sounds like a poor excuse to exit so there must be other reasons. Otherwise that excuse especially after decent results makes himself and the club look a little silly.

Of course there is something else going on, especially as in the PR for the Observer it says that they arent going to look for another manager as Luther Blisset and his coaching team will do the job for now. As that 100% worked well at the beginning of the season after Tuttle left LOL.

Saw this earlier in the week still laughing after reading it again Ref abandons game after 12 minutes Edgeware Town v Holmes Green because of a fan ķept moaning at him all the time and no swearing involved.

I thought they were more thick skinned than that.

When I was a Ref there were many times that i could have abandoned a match and walked off.  You feel like doing it but its very rare it happens.  I would not want to give any players or fans the satisfaction of thinking they had got the better of me.  The closest i came to it was reffing a county cup tie in Slough on a Sunday morning between 2 Slough sides where i dished out 4 reds and eleven yellows. I managed to get the game finished and to my amazement both managers came up to me afterwards and said how well i had managed the match.

Its a funny old world.
