3spirit - Burnahms problems are so far and wide reaching it is unreal. With the 50 people theyvare getting to games they have almost lost money before they have started.

I would agree that their only option os to follow the Windsor example, but they meed the right manager and attitude to do this.

Unless they do something substantual and quick they will 100% be relegated again this season.

SloughFlyer, I agree with you that Burnham have major problems on and off the field but the bottom line is that if get relegated again this season, then as Longshot has said, they will have the best stadium in the division with no one watching, which will be a financial catastrophe.

I don't know Gary Reeves personally but for me, he has been a disaster for Burnham FC, as since he's been in charge there, everything to do with the first team has gone downhill.

The Windsor FC project will take time to implement, that's why I think it's imperative to get a manager and few signings in asap.

It makes you wonder if there's an ulterior motive to Burnham's demise. Perhaps they want to sell The Gore for houses? !

To be fair, they have pretty much the best stadium in the division they are in now with no one watching lol.

From what i have seen Gary Reeves seems to work as hard as he can at every job in the football club, but working hard doesnt always end up in success.

Ive not thought about a potential motive for whats happened so far (or in tbe future for them) but from what i have seen over the last few seasons, nothing would surprise me.

Perhaps Gary Reeves is only a front man and has little in the way of financial clout, as if the rumours are true Martin Stone's wife was bankrolling the club for while and now Luther Blisset is loaning them money.

None of us outsiders know the truth on this situation but it is a shame to see Burnham fc heading so far downwards and not seeming to have any solutions to their recurring problems.

Thank God our club got Steve Easterbrook at the helm when it did, as our club could have been nowhere in sight by now !

100% agree with the statement about Steve Easterbrook 3spirit. Very lucky indeed.

We went to the Ascot v Burnham game last night and once again Burnham showed how bad they are with a 7-2 loss. They gave away 2 pens and had a bloke sent off and just look a shambles of a team top to bottom inside and out. Ascot didnt really look much of a side either but comfortably dispatched Burnham who had Blissett on the bench as manager for that game.

7-2 !     It get's worse.

In one of the local newspapers, there was an interview with Luther Blisset, where he said he didn't want to be the manager and knew it wasn't his 'bag'.

So he's obviously been given the 'short straw' ! ! !

It is being done between Blissett and a young lad from the Luton coaching set up called Paul Toms i believe.

Apparently Blissetts company has loaned the club loney this season so i would imagine he maybe trying (and failing) to protect his investment.

Originally the loan was supposed to be for the set up of the Burnham Academy. Whether any of the money finds it's way to the first team is conjecture because it doesn't look like it is, at the moment.

Worthing v Peace haven abandoned after 70 minutes thug hits player as he is being substituted.

These instances seem to be on the rise what's wrong with these people.

They should be supporting there team for 90+ minutes.

Just like the foul language on Saturday by some of the Redditch supporters at there team bet the players think why should I play in front of them.

My previous visit to Redditch was blighted by the foul, racist and abusive

language of the minority "Villa supporters", but I didn't encounter anything

of the sort this time.

Thought their ground was much improved, however the bar fiasco and disgruntled

bar staff created a less than welcoming experience upon arrival. No programmes

either despite enquiring upon entry to the ground and before kick off.

It,s great watching your team when they are winning after watching Slough for 47 yrs I have always found that comedy and jokes with the friends who I have stood with is always better when things are not going so well.

Why use foul language comedy beats it hands down and you go home with a smile what ever the result.

I see Burnham lost 0-1 to Brackley Saints yesterday, Attendance of 66. Now 7 points adrift at the bottom. Something will need to happen soon or the gap will get to big even if they start to pick up a few points. Wokingham improved towards the end of last season but left it far to late to escape.  Did anyone go to Gore to watch?.

Brackley were one place above Burnham before yesterday.  They are supposed to be Brackley Town reserves but talking to them last season they said that no first team players ever played for them.  They are a very young developing side who try to play nice football but are knocked off the ball easily by the more physical sides.
