Boston and AFC Fylde the two teams immediately above Maidenhead both lost their game in hand tonight   making things a bit easier for Maidenhead who remain one off the bottom and still very much in trouble

I don’t agree entirely, Maidenhead are probably going to need to catch Wealdstone if they are to avoid relegation, and they were who beat Boston 1-0 last night.

One place above the relegation zone are Dagenham with the same points as Boston just a better goal difference.

Wealdstone have a 2 point advantage with Woking having 3 points in hand.

It's still looking wide open for 3 of the 4 relegation places.

Southend supporters are really impressed with Leon and think he could go a lot higher up the leagues.

Just an example of the way he's playing.

A bad night for Maidenhead as Boston & Woking win away from home….. Maidenhead now look doomed.

A good night for Leon & Southend as Rochdale & Oldham lose, & Southend’s chances of a play-off place improve.

5 points off safety with 15 points to play for, so still doable.

Lose away to Halifax on Saturday and it could be all over.

Hampton secure their place in the NLS for another season.

After a seven league match losing streak including a 5-0 defeat at home to Bath last Saturday, it looked like Hampton could be in trouble, & Welling must have gone there optimistic of getting result….. not to be though as Hampton won 5-0!
