A couple of non league snippets

Truro are really going for it, however, Zac Bell has been with them for months on loan from Maidenhead so no surprise he's now signed a contract. Saw him in pre season at Maidenhead along with Tyrece Dyce and both looked good, but now, one at Truro, the other with no starts since months ago and no bench warming since Yeovil at home 22/2/25.

I think Maidenhead's last seven games are all winnable, however, the opposition will all be thinking the same! Very interesting run in.

As well as signing up Dan Lincoln I see Truro have also signed up Maidenhead player Zac Bell for an undisclosed fee.

I was checking Maidenhead's remaining 7  league fixtures and am not sure what to make of them.

They are as follows...........

Tomorrow Away v Dagenham (currently 20th)

Sat Apr 5th Home to Tamworth (currently 10th)

Sat Apr 12th Away to FC Halifax (currently 5th)

Fri Apr 18th Home to Woking (currently 18th)

Mon Apr 21st Away to Wealdstone (currently 19th)

Sat Apr 26th Away to Ebbsfleet (currently 24th)

Sat May 5th Home to Boston (currently 21st)

Lots of 6 pointer matches there.

Plenty of points to play for but lose the 6 pointer tomorrow and I think they'll find it difficult to escape the bottom 4.

Strange that there's nothing reported on the Truro site as regards to their normal keeper Dan Lavercombe who imo is one of the best in the division.

It can only be that he's picked up an injury.

Report on the BBC sport website RR says that Truro have signed "free agent" goalkeeper Dan Lincoln until the end of the season as "cover" for first choice Dan Lavercombe.

As cover?

So Truro must be paying Lincoln a good wedge just to be on the bench and also putting him up in some sort of accommodation until the season ends.

I'd hate to think how much money Truro are throwing at trying to get promoted.

No doubt they’re being subsidised but when you’re averaging 1,500 you’re going to be able to afford a decent wage bill. Plus I hear tomorrow’s match is a sell out so tickets plus food and drink will net them several thousands in profit. Once they get their main stand built their crowds will increase further plus they’ll have the additional revenue that this building will generate.

Yeovil have just reported that for the season 2023/2024, the season they were promoted from the NLS, they made a loss of £3 million.

This takes their current total debt to nearly 6.5 million.

I wonder how much money they spent on their new club crest. Money well spent?

Dan hasn't been playing for Salisbury due to 2 concussion incidents  Salisburys last game was away to Truro.

Munashe Sundire & Leon Chambers-Parillon have had a good day with Tamworth & Southend respectively and both are now on the verge of playing in the play-offs….. 16 months ago both were playing for us in a 3-0 home win against Braintree.

Hopefully Scott will once again find players of this quality to sign for next season.

Jake Tabor at Amersham has scored something like 45 league goals this season at Step 5, but still not enough to get automatic promotion.

Looks like he will be on the move at the end of this season…. it would be an enormous jump to the Football League, so will we see him somewhere in the National League Premier or South next season?

I think I've read somewhere that previously he's had trials at Wycombe.

Scouts from various clubs including Slough must have have watched a player that scores that amount of goals and for some reason he's still at Amersham.

Well there's a few fans who won't be attending matches anytime soon: https://talksport.com/football/3064085/yeovil-town-owner-stadium-bans-fans-online-criticism/. It appears that not all is well at Yeovil.
