Ryan Hope has signed for Harrow Borough. Same level as Slough but I don't think anyone can argue against us having a lot more potential, much larger fan base (they averaged just 160 last season) and better prospects, super work agent! Anyway I shall follow with interest to see if he's a regular there.

Seems like Luke Williams is joining him at Harrow

Ah didn't even notice that, looks like Warro could be sub goalie (if he can prove he's good enough of course) this season unless any of the trialists are goalies.

 

 

There is no way Warro will stay with us as a sub goalie. If he is not in the starting eleven he will be off somewhere else.

 

Besides how many teams at our level have a goalkeeper on the bench?

 

Whoever is not first choice keeper could be dual registered but I don't think either Scottie or Warro will want to do that.

Warro hasn't played for a while so he can't expect to be first choice and isn't better than Scott. It'll be upto him to prove us all wrong or as you say he'll be off if he doesn't fancy the challenge. I'd rather have a decent second goalie in the squad rather than a youngster who won't be good enough or rely on a loan.

It's been mentioned by our managers that all players start pre-season with a clean slate and that will include the goalkeepers. Yes Warro hasn't played for a while but It'll down to Scottie to prove he's the number 1 choice keeper.

 

IMO at our level it's nigh on impossible to keep two good keepers happy in a squad unless one of them is a youngster who is prepared to bide his time.

It will be interesting to see how Ryan does at Harrow..... some on here weren't seeing him as being in the starting XI for us.

 

Ryan started 21 league matches for us last season, and had only started in 10 by the end of February..... I suppose any improvement on that will be progress for him.
