Can only be purely for financial reasons, but the fact they struggle to host their own matches, their pitch will need starting from scratch come the seasons end. Just hope they’ve made enough money from this deal to allow for that.

Is Tauntons inability to play games that bad? Or is it just the fact it was the big Torquay & Yeovil games that's exaggerated the situation, they've played 1 less home game than Slough (on a 4G) and more than sides like Braintree & Hampton on grass

My personal opinion is that Taunton are paying the penalty for building up a debt getting promotion and maintaining their status in the NLS to the point where having no home games for a lengthy period of time forced the tax man to come down hard on the club.

Basically another club who have been spending beyond their means to play at the highest level possible and now the chickens have come home to roost.

National  League North side Chorley FC latest to be hit by Inland Revenue winding up order

Isn't it Chorley that are courting the interest of BoyZone and Westlife?

Think members of both were there at the weekend.

Ex rebel Ogo Obi scored again for Chesham yesterday in their 4-0 win over Swindon Super Marine.

Chesham are now 7 points clear at the top with a game in hand over Salisbury.

I'm desperate for Chesham to finally come up, gutted it wasn't last year but hopefully all going the right way we can renew the Boxing and New Years Day rivalries.

National League South involvement in the FA Trophy ended on Saturday as Welling & Aveley lost to National League Premier opposition Barnet & Bromley, & Hampton lost at home to lower league Macclesfield.

With Bromley, Barnet, Gateshead & Solihull all through to the quarter finals the semi finals could look like a rehearsal for the National League Premier play-offs.

Not to tempt fate on Chesham but it does look like it's their year to get promoted which can only be a good thing for us.

I'm sure it's in no small way connected with the arrival of celebrity Alex Horne to their boardroom.

I have a TV RR.

I just don't give the disgusting  B.B.C.  a hundred and sixty quid odd a year of my hard earned money.

Just can't watch any live broadcast  on any TV channel, or BBC's I-player service.

There's plenty to watch on Youtube. ITVX, Amazon Prime. Netflix etc though.

DEFUND THE B.B.C. !

( Well you did ask RR ! 🤣 )

You learn something new every day.

I didn't realise the point you're making HR.

So if you only watch a pay per view channel on your TV you don't have to pay for a TV licence?

Silly question but if you've got a TV how do they know you're not watching normal TV channels?
