Lots of rumours around the west country that Taunton may be in trouble and that they havent paid players for several weeks. There are calls for a Supporters Trust to be set up as works really well at Exeter most worrying for supporters is that the club havent commented or refuted the rumours

A lot of clubs/managers will be hoping they are in trouble and plumet into the relegation zone to take the pressure off them.

With 4 relegation places in this league, you need to be well clear to sleep easy.

Forest Green Rovers vs Scarborough Athletic ordered to be replayed following an investigation into the eligibility of a Forest Green player in the FA Cup First Round.

Makes you wonder what the difference between this and Horsham vs Barnsley is. Leniency in this case, whereas they couldn't chuck Barnsley out quickly enough!

Unpleasant report of dressing room unrest in the Dover FC camp being discussed on the Dover fan's forum.

It is alleged on their forum that a senior player in his mid thirties headbutted their young goalkeeper in the dressing room after a recent game because of a mistake made by the goalie which led to a goal.

I obviously do not know if this story is true, but it has recently gone up on  the Dover FC official twitter page that their young goalie, who was I believe on a season long loan to Dover from a Premiership club, has been recalled from his loan by this Premiership team and won't be playing for Dover anymore.

Yes, I've read that report as well.

It was goal keeper Billy Terrell who was on trial with us in pre season who reportedly was head butted after making a mistake in a game that led to a goal.

If true it is totally unacceptable behaviour and the offending player should never be allowed to play for Dover again.

Reportedly it was the Dover captain who headbutted him and it seems that Dover are so desperate they have brushed the incident under the carpet.

George Alexander has scored again for Dartford. That's 2 in 2 appearances.

We obviously weren't utilising him properly!

All strikers go through a lean period and their confidence in front of goal hits rock bottom.

Even when George was getting some easy chances he started missing them so I'd say it was nothing to do with how he was being utilized.

Sometimes just a change of scenery can spark a striker off scoring again.

Ive just read Georges statement when he joined Dartford  no criticism of teammates or tactics just says he was on fire early in the season then he hit a blip and chances didnt go in  Says he had a target of 20 goals for the season  ( 7for us 2 so far for Dartord) so very likely imo he will get his target

Old arch rivals Chesham are now top of the Southern Premier on goal difference from Salisbury.

Ricardo German has bagged 20 goals already for Chesham this season and is also top scorer in the Southern Prem.

If he's the striker we're after I think it would take a lot to prize him away from Chesham.

I’d say we’ve definitely been in contact but so have plenty of other clubs! I’d be surprised if we signed him but obviously very happy if we did as he’s exactly the striker we need. If we can’t then I hope we’re able to sign someone of similar stature. Down to you Scott!

I've never seen Ricardo German play but looking at his CV he does have a lot of loans deals to his name, 7 in total out of the 9 clubs he's played for, and the vast majority of his goals have been scored at Hendon and now Chesham.

The one thing in our favour would be the Jeanmal Prosper link but with Chesham going for the title and promotion I'm not sure why he would he would want to sign for us at this precise time.

No guarantee Chesham will get promoted especially as only one gets automatic promotion and there’s a few clubs hot on their heels. Plus it’s local to him and I’d like to think we’re still a big draw locally. And it’s a definite step up (well for half season at least!!!) and I’m sure he’d be on a lot more wages here. And if he performs well in the next year he could well then make another step up.

From this article, I would agree, it looks like he has got back to enjoying his football at Chesham:-

Interesting insight into how his football career has been derailed through depression and having the wrong manager when dealing with it.

An 88th minute away winner from late substitute Olly Scott at top of League Two Stockport earns Aldershot a third round FA Cup match away to West Brom…… with £67,000 of prize money & half the gate receipts from the West Brom match (£150,000+?), it might give them the funds to push to get back into the Football League.

Disappointed with Stockport on the night but quite impressed with Aldershot.
