Maidenhead attendances were up 18% with an average of 482 and have announced that their season ticket prices will be frozen for next season.

 

So one would assume that the experiment (think it was £100 a season ticket) was a success and perhaps other clubs can learn by this?

 James Jepson who had a few games for Slough Town last season is the new manager of Rugby Town.

I remember him as a member of the Kettering team beaten 3-2 by us to gain promotion

James Jepson seemed to be at quite a few clubs this season. Would be interesting to find out just how many, can't be too far from a record.

With all the club`s he`s played for he will have plenty of contacts, something all managers need.

It will be interesting to see how they do as they seemed to have dropped off in the last few years, compared to when them and us used to be regulars in challenging in and around the play offs.

Think they had problems adapting to being in Evo Stik Northern League, another club adversely affected by being bumped regionally.

Redditch have lost manager Liam McDonald who has accepted the position at Hednesford

After the disappointment of not getting promotion they will do well to keep hold of Ashley Sammons and co.

 

I also see that Redditch are having a 3G installed ready for next season.

Due to Gosport having financial problems rumours are rife that they will ask to be dropped down to the Southern Premier division and as such Havant and Waterlooville will get a reprieve.

Yes Sam Pearce and Justin Bennett are leaving Bennett after 9 years and despite being contracted until the end of 2016/17 season Borough manager says " Contracts mean nothing if the player no longer wants to play Im not happy about it but there is nothing I can do"

Interesting they included Meechan who only played half a season (although it was nearly enough to get him the Golden boot)

Don't think you can be surprised no Rebels were included? 17th place and unless we had someone score 30+ was never going to happen.

Not too surprised to see Matt Day and Johnny McNamara in there as they were both stand out players when we played them.

 

I thought Garyn Preen and Jordan Nicholson might have had a chance of making it as well. We came up against quite a few very good centre backs this year but I can't remember there names, always easier to remember attackers I guess.

 

 

From our team I think only Lewis Putman might have a chance but there were plenty of good wingers in the league.
