Not sure about the 3G, But there will be an athletics track same as Stompond lane, Lots of trouble ahead IMO, if ever two football clubs disliked each other its these 2,

Hot favourite to be sacked is Gary Haylock at Hayes and Yeading after they were relegated yesterday.

 

At home and needing to win the game apparently they only played one up front and got stuffed 3-0 by another relegation threatened team in Bath.

Our old friend Tony Mendy finished top scorer in the central division with 29 goals for Chalfont St.Peter.

 

Warren Bentley finished top scorer in the South and West with 43 goals for Winchester.

 

Seems that Bentley turned down a move to Gosport Borough earlier in the season when they offered Winchester £5,000 for him. he's out of contract at the end of the season and if he moves to a bigger club Winchester will get nothing.

Must admit it wasn't the most difficult prediction. 

 

I thought Garry Haylock would do well at Hayes and Yeading. Got that totally wrong !

 

Seems most of their fans lost faith with him, as he insisted on played only one forward for most of his games in charge, without getting much success with it.

Went to see Hayes & Yeading on Sat. Poor performance from them, Bath easily the better side, but it took 2 softish pens. to get them in front. Nick McCootie (ex Paulton) came on as sub and got the third, using his strength to muscle past the H&Y back line.

 

Spoke to some Bath supporters who were sweating on the result a bit, but it didn't seem to be in doubt to me. Just goes to show impartiality gives a different perspective!!

 

I guess H&Y won't end up in our league, but do think it's a shame they've struggled this long to hold onto Conference status without a home ground and as soon as they are on the cusp of returming home they get relegated.

As Slough and Hayes are pretty close geographically I'd guess both are borderline to either the Ryman or Southern. Would be a nice local derby plus hopefully another new stadium to visit.

I see Wilson Carvalho of Kettering has been banned from the first 6 games of next season for spitting at a Bedworth opponent Who thinks this is about right? Over the top? Too lenient?

3 month ban and a hefty fine as a minimum and if they get caught again 6 months etc.

 

I would also expect the players club to come down hard on the culprit.

 

Zero tolerance from me on such a disgusting and despicable act.

His defence was that he was merely spitting out used chewing gum and the saliva accidently went with it! Yeah Right!
