I can't remember the chaps name who ran Windsor FC and changed the kit to green with the Union flag on it. He's the one who decided to run them without wages and has sort of kept them afloat but whether thats enough for the Windsor faithful who remember former glories is anyones guess.

Peter Stott is the chairman of Windsor FC. Yes he did take away the playing budget for a while and that was when they were getting crowds of around 200!

Apparently Windsor FC also fell out with Crown Estates, or whatever they're called who own the ground. It was they who declined to renew the lease. The new club just took advantage of the situation. FC also alienated the fans.

I spoke to a mate of mine who's around Windsor as a club a fair bit and he said he wasn't aware of another Saturday side being set up.

Also Langley FC play at Arbour Park as far as I know, so when are Windsor going to use it?

Again press reports and the Langley twitter says that Langley FC are ground sharing at Uxbridge next season.

Uxbridge are ground sharing arbour park whilst they get their 3g pitch laid

Presumably this is just a pre-season arrangement & Uxbridge’s pitch will be completed by the time of their first league home match on 28th August, as Arbour Park surely wouldn’t be able to cater for us, Langley FC & Uxbridge.

They’ll be playing at Beaconsfield Town instead.

Madness! They’d struggle to get 50 home fans at Slough which is easy and near to get to. Beaconsfield would be a minimum 30 minute drive, if they actually play a game there the crowds could be very embarrassing. I think everyone aside from their chairman can see what’s about to happen.

That's interesting, The Director of Football there told me the club was for Beaconsfield teams only, they are not letting anyone else use it, its on the go every Saturday already with their Elite sides and their U23s etc. 🤷‍♂️

Windsor FC had better hurry up and get a team together as they are due  to be playing Hillingdon Borough on August 5th

Now Hillingdon Borough, there's a place and a half to play football, its so run down and when we were there last season we weren't even allowed to use the clubhouse or bar, we had to go to the pub across the road.

Hillingdon Borough, is that the place we went to a number of years ago (a cup competition I think) which had wall to wall TV's in the clubhouse and I told the chap behind the bar where to stick it when he tried to charge me £2.50 for a cup of tea?

Some things you just never forget 😅

Sounds about right.  I used to hire the place for all my Waitrose matches when I was at South Harrow, the clubhouse was all done up and really nice, played there maybe twenty times or more mainly on the grass pitch but if it was waterlogged on the 3G.

Was there last season as my lad played the FA Youth Cup there and they said sorry can't come in if there for football you need to use the pub across the road for drinks etc, bonkers.

Possibly didn't want to lower themselves to the football rabble.
