Kettering Town have appointed ex Chesham and Enfield Town boss Andy Leese as their new manager.

Blimey, that's a big surprise. Will be interesting to see how he fares with them given that most of his player contacts are from around the London area and the Thames Valley area.

Prolific striker Moses Emmanuel has signed for Billericay Town.

Isn't Gary McCann now the manager at Billericay,RR? Anyway this looks a good signing whatever.

Yes, ex Hampton manager Gary McCann is now at Billericay.

Moses Emmanuel was previously at Billericay when we last played them in the league.

Thanks for that RR. Tonbridge may need moving but we've  one of the least expensive and tiring away program

Francis Amartey has mutually agreed to have his contract terminated with Aldershot.

Even if we wanted to sign him I doubt we could afford his wages.

No surprise about him leaving Aldershot but we won’t be signing him now with the 2 strikers we’ve signed. I’m pretty sure we’ll be playing against him this season.

If he liked playing for Slough/Scott last season I would have thought we would be in with a good shout of signing him, thus solving our forward problem ie only having two lower level forwards[albeit rated].

How big do you think our budget is!!!! I’d love him back but he’ll probably be signing for Farnborough or Hampton.

Unless Francis loved playing for Slough and he's happy to have his wages slashed it's just not going to happen.

First thing to happen will be his agent on the phone touting him around trying to get him a full time contract.

If that fails he will very likely go to a club within reasonable travelling distance who can offer him the most money which by my reckoning puts Hampton and Farnborough at the fore front for signing him.
